This is one of my favorite mixed media canvases, in fact it has a place in my kitchen all year round.
HOW: The 15x15 canvas is base-coated black, with orange texture made with a non-slip-grip plastic thing. The patched pumpkin, crow, and words (which are stamped) are composed of a variety of halloween scrapbooking papers; antiqued with staz on ink; and adhered with a matte gel. I also stencilled swirls on the stars and crow. Lastly, a mist-spray of walnut ink for the final touch.
